MATCH ARRANGING:
1.  All clan members must play the match with the pimpkey key that is in their profile , anyone caught using another for whatever reason will face a  possible ban from the league and the match will automatically be a default win to the other team – no ifs or buts.
2. Please be punctual for the match – an allowance of 15 minutes will be made but if the other clan is still not ready to commence the match then a default win can be claimed unless there is a problem that can be resolved between the two clan leaders and a reschedule can take place later , or the match can be delayed . As long as both clans agree then this is acceptable.
3. No shows – mean a default win to the opposing clan.
4. If one clan cannot get the required number of players, then they must play with the number of players they have or give a default win. The opposing clan is NOT required to ‘drop’ any members to even the teams.
5. Please be sure to read the challenge before accepting them.
6. Please put in your map choice in your match notes. This avoids complications. If you put a map in your match notes, that map HAS to be played. If no maps are asked for in the match notes then the challenger will pick 2 maps from the 3 options that he receives in the finalized challenge.

7. DMW Scanner
Every match must have the latest publicly available version of DMW running.
Every player must be checked for Cheats.
In the case of a new version full of bugs or when the DMW database is down, we suggest postponing the match until everything is working well.
It is compulsory that during all official EGL clan wars, DMW Anti-Cheat Scanner logs are kept and all matches logged by the server host/admin and that the logs are available to be shared with the opposing clan immediately after the clan war has finished. We also allow 48hrs for the DMW log to be passed onto opposing clan leaders (if requested). If the DMW log cannot be produced then the opposing team receives a Default win.
Please ensure that logging is enabled on your scanner by checking the logging box, then test it to be sure it is working correctly.
If a Clan has the latest DMW3 Scanner then preference using this scanner is taken.  
PLEASE NOTE:
DMW3 Scanner must have *Broadcast server protection*  turned on in all matches. Punishment for failing to comply with this rule will be at admins discretion.

DURING THE MATCH:
1. STARTING & HOLDING: The match will commence with a ‘bash’ or 'duels' – the winning team will decide which side they take first and also which map is to be played first. Both teams have to confirm being ready, if so, there has to be made a restart. Then the hosting team has to confirm the start or continuing of the match saying ‘live’, ‘go’ or ‘start’. The same happens after a clan has used a hold.

A clan can ask for at least 5 holds during a map. These have be typed up in the first 5 seconds… else it will be a ‘hold next’. A ‘hold’ has a duration of 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the match continues. The holding clan cannot hold again for the same player with same problem to get 5 more minutes to try to get in. If the player is sure he can get in, they may hold again. The opponents have no choice but hold, if it is typed up, unless it is more than 5 hold in one map. Although we kindly request clans to hold more if they ask for it. It isn’t fun to keep holding a lot, but having problems with connection, or DMW is neither. 

2. SPECTATOR MODE: It is not acceptable for any member or random player to be in spectator mode during a match except :
a) A member who has just joined the server during a hold (for a possible crash etc.)
b) during a break.
If during a round a player goes into spectator mode – the round is awarded to the other side.

3. SPAMMING: Please refrain from typing up ‘spam’ during the match or constant ‘taunts’ – this is very off putting and most clans do not like it. Please respect this. If your opponent is spamming make screenshots, and sent this to one of the admins after the match. They will decide if a punishment has to be made.

4. BUG NADING – Whilst we accept this can sometimes be done accidentally we will take action if proof is given that bug nades were used repeatedly during a match.

5. BA SKINS: The BA Skin pack are NOT allowed in the Elite Gaming League.

6. BREAK: A break must be taken during map changes of no more than 5 minutes, but if both clans agree then they can disregard this break and play on.

7. PLAYERS SPOTS: Players can go everywhere they can in all the maps. However, they MUST be able to get there on their own. If opponents do not believe that a certain player could get on a certain spot, he must show the way how to do it after the match. There is one exception to this: the rooftops on St Lo which are totally out of bounds, so they are NOT ALLOWED, although there are ways to get there are your own.

8. STACKING: Abusing map bugs that give you a big advantage is not allowed; this includes jumping out of the map, jumping on rooftops and walls with the help of other players. It is allowed to stack players on top of each other to look and shoot over buildings and walls.

9. FRIENDLY FIRE: Please take note when challenging whether friendly fire is to be on or off. If nothing is stated in the match notes, it has to be on. Friendly Fire is ON by default.

10. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE & LEAVING: If any member of either clan is persistently typing up abuse – screenshot it and if we receive more than 3-4 screenshots of abuse being typed up then the member Involved will receive a one month ban from the league. Depending on the severity of the abuse – the clan may well have to forfeit the match to the opposing team.
 
If a clan leaves the server before the end of the match then any remaining rounds that should have been played will automatically be given in favor of the other clan.
                      
11. DMW: If DMW is down – the match MUST  be cancelled and rearranged. DMW must be running correctly at all times – if you notice it has stopped running – you must screenshot this incase it is needed later and then ask for the match to be stopped and the scanner to be started up again and if necessary replay the last round.
All servers that matches are played on MUST be registered with DMW so that the server can easily be checked with a simple search for the CLAN server ip address or the CLAN id.

12. WEAPONARY: During the matches in the normal objective realism, and team deatmatch ladder(s), you are allowed to use a Rifle, Sniper Rifle, SMG, MG. The maximum amount of Sniper Rifles is set to 1. If the amount of players per clan is higher then 5, then it is allowed to have 2 snipers, if both clans agree before the war. If both clans agree, you can play with all weapons, including the Rocket Launcher. The maximum amount of Rocket Launchers is then set to 1. There is no shotgun limit.

13. DOORBLOCKING: Door blocking is allowed, if not used excessive. Some players block the door a few seconds if they reload, or they block a door by accident while getting ready to do some grenade. This is allowed. However, it is NOT allowed to constantly block doors so that players cannot go into certain rooms. If clans get a lot of complaints about excessive use of door blocking they could be facing being removed from the league.

14. SNIPER ONLY: For the sniper only ladders, it is not needed to play with a special Sniper-Only MOD, which disables the option to pick SMG’s etc. Grenades are allowed, but fighting with a pistol is not. You only play with your gun while having a bash, at the start of the match. However, if you get shot during a match by another weapon than the sniper rifle, the round is given to the your team. If they refuse, please make a screenshot which says the player was shooting with another weapon then the sniper rifle, and a screenshot of them refusing to give you the round for using a different gun then the sniper rifle. E-mail these 2 screenshots to one of the admins and you will be awarded a default win. However, if both clans prefer to play with the Sniper Only Mod, then this is allowed. This has to be confirmed by both clans before the match starts. If you decide to play with the Sniper Only Mod, then a sniper duel, has to make out who starts on which side, and on which map.

15. TEAM DEATHMATCH: For the team deathmatch ladder(s), there are 2 maps to be played. You play on both maps, on both sides. 15 minutes as default time setting. This can be put on 10, or 20 if both clans agree before the match. This should be in the match notes. For the rules about weaponry, look at rule #13. You start the match with a bash, where the winning team chooses his side, and the first map to be played. The total amount of frags determines the winner of the match. If a clan leaves during a match, that clan loses the match automatically. They get 1 frag less then the opponent has on the moment they left, no matter how many frags they have. This means they do not lose by default when they leave, but they lose like a normal match.

16. PING PROBLEMS: Remember – check the server that the match is to be played on, before the match commences to check for lag. If you are not happy with the server and the other team refuse to play on yours, they MUST accept a 50/50, which means you play one map at their server and one map at your own server.

17. MODS: Any kind of Mods are not allowed while playing a match. Exceptions are the sniper only mod (if both clans agree), and the MOD which disables Rockets and Shotguns. (if agreed not playing with those weapons of course). If you are on a server of your opponent, and they have strange Mods on it, you have to let them know before the bash starts. You cannot argue about Mods anymore, while in the middle of the match. If you start on a server, you have to continue on that server, unless you agreed to play 50/50 (see rule #16)

18. SUBSTITUTIONS: It is allowed to substitute players during the break between the two maps. There is no limit of players that can be substituted. A substitution can also be made during a hold, when a player suddenly gets connection problems.

19. TEAM SIZE: The minimum of players that is needed for a match in the MOHAA Objective Realism or Team Deathmatch Realism ladder is 3. This means a 3vs3 can never be played for the 2vs2 ladder, but it can be played for the normal objective ladder. There is no limit of team size as long as both clans agree.

20. MATCH NOTES: Some clans like to type up their own rules in the match notes. Remember that you only have to follow the rules concerning Friendly Fire (on or off), Amount of rounds (5 or 7 per side for objective), the time limit in TDM matches and the team size. All other ‘rules’can be ignored.
Example: A clan can type up: ‘if you use a voice-taunt then we get that round atomically’. You do not have to follow this rule, as EGL does not support that rule.

21. CHAT: We wont tollarate kind of words like 'kanker', 'cancer' & 'your mom, dad, brother, sister' ect. even if they are quotes ( if you use words like this you will get a time ban e.g 24h:20m)

AFTER THE MATCH
SCORE INPUT: If you lost a match, please input the score immediately after the match – 24 hrs is the maximum time allowed to put the score in, unless you are conflicting the result in this case – don’t put in the score. The winning team has to confirm the score.

CONFLICTING: If you do have conflict with the opponent clan, please write an e-mail to one of our admins, also let your opponent know that you made a conflict. So that they can put in their side of the story right away, without having to wait for our admin tocontact them.Please sent screenshots with your e-mail to prove things like spam, abusive typing etc.
Note: Elite Gaming League Admins reserve the right to amend or add to the above rules at any time.

 

 

If at the end of the 28 rounds the score is a draw between both clans a extra round must beplayed on the current map as the decider!
